Purpose

This end-to-end workflow demonstrates every documented Catalyst Grit capability through one fictional resilient-community-retrofit case. The objective is not to prove a real-world conclusion; it is to verify the complete product workflow with controlled data.

Prerequisites

  • The current product release
  • A new synthetic workspace
  • The all-feature CSV and JSON
  • No production or private information
  • Time to review every checkpoint

Sample data

This article uses a fictional Resilient Community Retrofit Program. The files contain one demonstration row for every documented feature, so each capability can be tested without private or production data.

Procedure

Scenario

A community center is assessing energy, comfort, financing, implementation, evidence, and monitoring needs. Use only the supplied fictional records.

  1. 1. Goal Workspace: create GRIT-LEARN-001. Confirm a user-controlled goal workspace.
  2. 2. Goal Definition: define an eight-week goal to complete a reproducible energy analysis. Confirm a bounded goal with completion criteria.
  3. 3. Milestones: break the goal into data, calculation, analysis, and briefing steps. Confirm a milestone plan.
  4. 4. Effort Log: record a 45-minute analysis session without moral judgment. Confirm an effort record.
  5. 5. Context and Constraints: record limited evening availability, data access, and care obligations. Confirm a context record.
  6. 6. Support Map: add a mentor, documentation, and quiet-workspace support. Confirm a support plan.
  7. 7. Recovery and Rest: schedule recovery and pacing. Confirm a sustainable effort plan.
  8. 8. Setback Records: record a missed milestone caused by delayed data access. Confirm a contextual setback record.
  9. 9. Strategy Experiments: compare 25-minute and 50-minute work sessions. Confirm a small learning experiment.
  10. 10. Reflection: record what helped, harmed, changed, or remains uncertain. Confirm a qualitative learning entry.
  11. 11. Learning Patterns: notice better progress with morning sessions. Confirm an advisory user-reviewable pattern.
  12. 12. Progress Measures: track milestones, confidence, wellbeing, support, and learning. Confirm a multidimensional progress view.
  13. 13. Uncertainty: mark low confidence when records are sparse. Confirm an uncertainty note.
  14. 14. Review: let the user reject or revise an inaccurate suggestion. Confirm a human-controlled conclusion.
  15. 15. Export: download only selected records. Confirm a consent-aware bundle.
  16. 16. Decision and Research Handoffs: send a voluntary learning plan to Canvas. Confirm a scoped handoff receipt.

Save and review

  1. Save the final workspace under the sample workspace ID.
  2. Close and reopen it in a clean session.
  3. Compare every feature result with the sample expected_result field.
  4. Document unresolved differences and do not hide warnings.
  5. Export one complete artifact bundle.
  6. Send one supported handoff to an integration and verify its receipt.

Supported integrations

  • Catalyst Canvas
  • Decision Studio
  • Research Lab
  • Product Support Platform
  • Platform Core

Expected output

  • a user-controlled goal workspace
  • a bounded goal with completion criteria
  • a milestone plan
  • an effort record
  • a context record
  • a support plan
  • a sustainable effort plan
  • a contextual setback record
  • a small learning experiment
  • a qualitative learning entry
  • an advisory user-reviewable pattern
  • a multidimensional progress view
  • an uncertainty note
  • a human-controlled conclusion
  • a consent-aware bundle
  • a scoped handoff receipt
  • A complete saved workspace

Verification

  • Every CSV feature row has a corresponding saved result.
  • The JSON workspace ID and product version are preserved.
  • The export can be inspected without temporary browser state.
  • The receiving product identifies source, destination, schema, artifact, and review state.
  • A human reviewer can reproduce or audit the demonstration.

Responsible use

Not for diagnosis, psychometrics, hiring, admissions, discipline, surveillance, ranking, or punitive evaluation.
