Sustainable Catalyst Channel

Channel

Spoken essays, briefings, notes, and discussions from the Sustainable Catalyst open knowledge lab.

The Sustainable Catalyst Channel extends the work of the open knowledge lab into spoken form:
direct reflection on public knowledge, systems thinking, ethics, technology, sustainability,
governance, storytelling, and the architecture of ideas.

Through briefings, notes, deep dives, and discussions, the Channel offers a conversational way
to follow the questions, frameworks, and connections shaping Sustainable Catalyst.

Channel Connections

Video from the Open Knowledge Lab

The Channel is the spoken companion to Sustainable Catalyst: a place for orientation,
interpretation, and reflection across the project’s major knowledge areas.

Episodes connect the Library, Publications, newsletter, video channel, and open code ecosystem by
explaining how ideas are organized, why certain themes matter, and how different fields speak to one another.

The format is thoughtful, direct, and exploratory: serious enough for the subject matter,
informal enough to follow the work as it develops.

Ways Into the Work

Channel entries are organized around four recurring formats: concise briefings, working notes,
extended deep dives, and discussions connected to the broader Sustainable Catalyst project.

01

Briefings

Focused introductions, project updates, and orientation videos explaining major ideas,
research areas, platform developments, and Sustainable Catalyst themes.

02

Notes

Informal reflections on current work, emerging questions, research decisions, article maps,
and the ongoing practice of building an open knowledge lab.

03

Deep Dives

Extended explorations of ideas across storytelling, systems thinking, ethics, technology,
sustainability, governance, public knowledge, and institutional change.

04

Discussions

Conversations, interviews, and dialogues connected to Sustainable Catalyst and the wider
work of public knowledge, ethical strategy, and systems intelligence.

What the Channel Covers

Channel episodes move across the major concerns of Sustainable Catalyst: how knowledge is
structured, how public reasoning can be strengthened, how technology changes institutions,
and how storytelling, systems, ethics, and sustainability shape the future.

Video Entries

Channel entries pair embedded video with written context, show notes, transcripts, and links
into the Sustainable Catalyst Library.

Each entry becomes part of the project’s institutional record: a durable page connecting spoken
reflection to the larger body of Sustainable Catalyst research, publication, and public knowledge work.

Video entries will appear here as the Channel archive grows.
